A. Purchasing Products
- Do I have to pay a fee to participate
in the Shopper Rewards Program?
No. When you make a purchase at retail price, you will automatically
become a "registered shopper" and be given a Shopper ID and password.
There is no fee for being a registered shopper.
- What is a Shopper ID?
A Shopper ID is used to identify you when you shop and refer
others to shop at eCosway. You will receive an ID the first time
you make a purchase at eCosway. Once you are given your ID, you
should always access the eCosway website using this ID. To earn
Value Points by referral, pass your ID to your friends, so that
they can access eCosway using your ID.
- How do I purchase merchandise
at eCosway?

- How do I pay for my purchases?
You may pay using your Visa or MasterCard. In countries/republics where
there are eCenters, you can make cash payments in local currency
equivalent to US dollars.
- Who pays for the freight, duty
and taxes?
You will have to bear the freight, duty and taxes where applicable.
- How do I know my order has been
accepted?
Once the order has been accepted, we will send you an Order Confirmation
email with details of your purchase, including an Order Number.
You will receive another email when the supplier has shipped your
order.
- What is the Order Number for?
The order number allows you to track the status of your order.
You will also need to refer to it to cancel an item or return
an item from the order.
- How do I track the status of my
order?
You can check the status of your order by clicking on "My
Account", after logging into your Online Office. To check
your supplierselection
orders, click on "Order Status" under My Order on the
left menu bar. To check your superselection
orders, click on "View Order" under My Super Selection
Order on the left menu bar.
- How long does it take for my orders
to arrive?
It can take between 2 to 3 weeks for you to receive products that
you have ordered. While eCosway's suppliers generally ship out
merchandise a few working days after you place an order, freight
routing and customs checks sometimes cause delays beyond our control.
- What if my order does not arrive?
If there is a delay in receiving your merchandise, please send
an email to sales@eCosway.com
and remember to quote your order number. We will follow-up with
the supplier and investigate the delay and get back to you as
soon as possible.
- Why is certain merchandise available
in certain countries only?
The availability of some merchandise depends on the weight and
size, the suppliers' distribution rights or specific restrictions
imposed by some suppliers.
- What is eV (eVolume)?
It is a specific value assigned to each item in the mall. It is
used to calculate Business Owner's profits.
- What are Value Points?
Value Points are points awarded to shoppers and when people they
refer buy products at retail price in the eCosway shopping mall.
You can use Value Points to purchase other items at deep discounts,
to buy special value items, and to bid with in the Amazing One
Dollar Auction. For more details on Value Points, please go to Shopper
Rewards Program.
- Do I get one Value Point per item,
or per transaction?
You get one Value Point for every item you buy online, plus you
get 1 Value Point any time any of the shoppers you personally
introduced buys an item.
- Can I get more Value Points if
I buy a more expensive item?
No. You get one Value Point for each item regardless of its price.
- How does the Amazing One Dollar
Auction Work?
You can use Value Points to bid for valuable items in the One
Dollar Auction. The winning bidder (Business Owner or shopper
who bids the highest number of Value Points) pays only US $1,
freight charges, and the number of Value Points used for the bid
to get the auction item. Click here

- Where can I see how many points
everyone else has bid for an item in the Amazing One Dollar Auction?
The bidding is secret. You cannot see other people's bids during
the auction, but the IDs of the successful bidder(s) and next
20 highest bids for each auction will be posted one month after
the auction closes. Click View Auction from the Shopping Mall.
- Will I have to pay duties and
taxes for the auction item which I have won?
Yes
B. Returns Policy & Procedure
- Can I return merchandise I purchased?
eCosway has a 10-day merchandise Returns Policy on all returnable
merchandise. Within 10 days of receiving a product, you may return
it in its original packaging and original condition. All merchandise
may be returned unless specified otherwise in the shopping pages
of the eCosway shopping mall.
- What is the procedure for returning
merchandise?

- When can I get my refund or replacement?
Once the eCosway supplier receives the returned merchandise, the
supplier will confirm the condition and approve it for a return.
You will be informed by e-mail accordingly.
- How is a refund given?
Your refund will be credited to your Refund eAccount which you
must utilize for your next purchase.
- Who pays for the freight charges,
duties and service tax for items which need to be replaced?
eCosway will reimburse any duty, service taxes and freight charges
incurred by a shopper for wrong, defective or damaged merchandise
received. eCosway will also pay for shipping the replacement.
- Who pays for the freight charges
for any merchandise returned?
You will bear all freight charges for merchandise returned for
refund.
- How will the return affect my
Value Points (VPs)?
If you are returning merchandise for a replacement, your VPs will
not be affected. If you are returning merchandise for a refund,
the Value Points associated with the purchase of the merchandise
you return will be reversed when the supplier confirms receipt
of the product. You will have to take this into account when bidding
in the Amazing $1 Auction.
C. Telling my friends about eCosway
- Does eCosway Allow
SPAMMING?
No. Unsolicited, unidentified, or misleading email is illegal
in many jurisdictions. It is important that Clause 3.2.2 of Policies
and Procedures be read and understood by every potential Shopper.

- Why does eCosway have such
a strict Advertising & Anti-Spam policies?
eCosway will not condone any activity that potentially violates
the laws of any country or jurisdiction. We also have to protect
the interests of our Shoppers and Business Owners. If you engage
in spamming activities, all eCosway Shoppers and Business Owners
will suffer because eCosway's domains might be blacklisted by
Internet Service Providers. There are many legitimate ways for
you to earn Value Points without resorting to sending unsolicited
email. We ask Shoppers to be considerate. PLEASE DON'T SPAM.
- How will eCosway know if I have
spammed?
A complaint can be lodged against you regarding your activity
by anyone sending us a copy of your offending post or e-mail.
- What if I'm not really guilty
of spamming?
We will investigate the complaint lodged against you. The company
reserves the right to bar your access to the web-site if you are
suspected of spamming. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Even if you do
not spam, you may still become a target of a Spam complaint. Therefore,
we advise you to save copies of email, instant messages and chat
room conversations showing that a person requested information
from you. Having these copies is your strongest defense against
a wrongful Spam allegation so store them in back-up files or print
them out as hard copies.
- Can I send ANY email to prospective
Shoppers?
Yes, you can prospect your friends and relatives provided they
have consented to it.
- Can I create my own marketing
materials or design a website to promote eCosway?
Not without written approval from eCosway. This is necessary to
protect the rights, image and reputation of eCosway. We need to
make sure that the Company is not misrepresented and that false
claims and promises are not made. For details, please refer to
Clause 3.2 of eCosway's Policies and Procedures.
