Q:I
have heard others describe a fishy burp aftertaste after taking
fish oil supplements. Is there any way to prevent fishy aftertaste
or burping?
A: Some
individuals may experience burping after taking fish oil supplements.
To avoid this, we recommend that you take the supplements at the beginning
of a meal, and spread your intake throughout the day.
Q:
I am currently taking Oriyen E3. Can I take it together with
Nn Supa EPA?
A: You
may take Supa EPA if you are taking E3, but don't take them simultaneously.
Allow an interval of 4 hours between them. |
Q: Is Omega-3
fish oil supplement recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding mothers?
A: Yes.
DHA, an Omega-3 essential fatty acid is vital for the optimal brain
and retinal development of the fetus and newborn infant, particularly
during the last trimester of pregnancy and the first 3 months after
birth. Mothers taking Omega-3 during pregnancy and breast-feeding
pass on its benefits to their babies. Furthermore, women with insufficient
intake of DHA during pregnancy or after giving birth are more likely
to suffer from postpartum depression. Taking Omega-3 supplementation
can help alleviate this problem.
Q: Is Omega-3
fattening?
A: No.
As a matter of fact, studies have shown that concentrated Omega-3
supplements can help to reduce body weight and fat because they help
to increase your metabolic rate--accelerating the burning of fat
and reducing water retention.
